Carla Anderson Skogland is the Founder and CEO of FinUp Partners, a finance advisory firm dedicated to helping founders deploy capital strategically and scale with discipline.
A 20-year finance leader, she specializes in aligning business operations with measurable financial outcomes—ensuring that every dollar invested drives growth. Prior to founding FinUp, Anderson Skogland held senior finance roles at Amazon and Starbucks during periods of rapid expansion.
At Starbucks, she led a full ERP implementation; at Amazon, she helped scale AWS order-to-cash operations from $5 billion to $26 billion in 2.5 years. She is a keynote speaker at the UCLA Velocity Conference, Duke University’s C200 Conference, and the University of Chicago Booth Women’s Conference, and has served in board roles, including the Girl Scouts of Western Washington.
